GRANBY KIDS HELP HAITI'S EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS
Almost 50 Granby children raised $2,507 selling hot chocolate and baked goods in front of Geissler's Supermarket for Haiti's earthquake victims. The kids came with money from their own piggy banks and drew in passersby with their chants "Hot Chocolate for Haiti." All proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross Haiti Relief & Development Fund. In addition they collected between 500-800 pairs of shoes to be distributed throughout Haiti through the Souls4Soles organization. photo by Danielle Sandridge
